Hey all!

Can you believe it’s been another week? Well, it has! You know what that means? It’s time for an update!

Where to begin? I’ve got the first drafts of chapter 7, 8, 9, 10, 11, and 12 done! Can you believe that progress? I’m super proud of myself! A lot has happened to Brân and his companions, especially in the most recent chapters. I can’t wait for people to read them one day!

I’ve passed the 60,000 word count mark, which, as my author mother pointed out, is a novel in and of itself! My current goal as far as word count is concerned is about 80,000 – 100,000. I’ve still got 8 chapters planned, so I may end up going over. Editing will be fun!

At some point in the coming weeks, I’d like to make blogposts about the main characters of The Son of Death, introducing Brân and his companions. I think it could be fun!
